"I joined Liscombe Park 3 years ago - I started off by
attending classes and had no interest in the gym - until I decided
to try a personal training session with Daryl.
I
was working out but not really getting the results I wanted, so
Daryl advised me to keep a food diary and also to stop drinking
for a month. The results of not drinking, eating healthier and
great workouts (thanks to my personal training sessions) have
been brilliant. I have lost 3 stone, toned up, dropped from a
size 16 to a size 8 and feel great!
My
aim was to become fitter, lose weight and learn to run. To my
amazement Daryl designed a programme which taught me to run –
building from nothing to a 5km race, then a 10km race and then
onto a half marathon!
My
future plan is to run the London Marathon but after the running
training I became hungrier for more. Daryl designed me swimming,
weights, abs, boxing and circuits programmes - so I never get
bored of my workouts now and I love coming to the gym.
The
hardest step was getting help but it was the best thing I ever
done. Now I really look forward to my personal training sessions
and they are just part of my monthly routine. It doesn’t
have to be costly - you can have a session once a week, month
or every six weeks - but the result is a personalised programme
just for you and YOU’RE WORTH IT!"
